Federal Hill Pizza is mentioned every time I get asked where the best pizza is in Rhode Island. Chef/Owner/Pizzaiole Billy Manzo is a true savant when it comes to perfecting the pie. He’s got the dough down to a science (literally!) and uses blazing wood-fired ovens to cook his perfect pizzas. As a true Italian eatery, they also serve all the classics like pasta, meatballs, calamari, etc. It’s all about the finest ingredients, from the imported flour, to the crushed tomatoes to the creamy, rich cheeses. No corners are cut, only slices.

Pro tip: order any pie “al taglio” and enjoy a thicker, rectangular pizza.
