Venda is the little Italy of Rhode Island! A deli, cafe, marketplace and restaurant all wrapped up into one. The sandwiches are the star of the show for me. The wrap-around deli case is filled with trays of stuffed mushrooms, broccoli rabe, sausage and peppers, chicken cutlets, and so many more of those delicious home-cooked dishes. Aisles of Italian imports let you do some grocery shopping, and make sure to pick up a pack of their famous fresh homemade pasta! In addition, they serve espresso and coffee drinks, deli meats and cheese, and even wrap up gift baskets!

What we order: the Caprese sandwich on a hard roll with oil and vin, the stuffed artichoke hearts, and the Italian grinder on focaccia.
